Amazing Books

Four students from the Year 9 Book Club took a trip to Bryanston for the prize giving ceremony of the Wessex Amazing Book Award (WABA). The students have been shadowing five books from different genre over the last few months and this was the celebration event to pick an overall winner. The students worked with about 70 students from across Dorset who had also been reading the books and gave short presentations as to why their chosen book should win. They were also treated to a talk given by author Joffre White which was fun and informative!
