Ex Students pass on their VSO Experience

On Monday 7th October former students George Blizzard and Poppy Formon returned to speak to sixth formers about the benefits of Voluntary Work Overseas.  Since leaving Hardye’s George has travelled extensively and has recently returned from Zambia where he worked with the local community on issues of sustainability, sexual health and active citizenship. Poppy will be travelling to Bangladesh in the new year and is currently fundraising for her trip. Both students explored their own drive to help some of the poorest communities in the world and flagged up the life enhancing and enriching aspects of the VSO experience.

It was an inspiring and motivating talk and great to see former students talk about their lives and plans after Hardyes.
